Chanelle Washington

Programming Fellow

Chanelle is a lifelong learner and passionate advocate in ensuring learners of all ages have equitable access to quality postsecondary advising. She is dedicated to reforming the systems in place to make higher education and economic mobility more accessible and inclusive. With the unique opportunity as a Programming Fellow, Chanelle receives real-time leadership development under the mentorship of the Managing Director of Programs, while immersing herself in all the pieces that form UP Partnership. Chanelle has more than 10 years of service in education working in college access, higher education, community organization, and program development assisting high-school youth and adult learners in Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, D.C. She has earned her bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Georgia and is currently pursuing her master’s in policy management at Georgetown University.
