Mary believes that consistent support and guidance are essential to higher education success and to ensuring all young people in Bexar County are Future Ready. She serves as Senior Manager of Postsecondary Partnerships at UP Partnership, where she leads collaborations with colleges and postsecondary institutions to expand access and support successful student transitions across the county.
She brings over ten years of experience in higher education, including advising, recruitment, partnership development, and student success initiatives. Mary holds a Master of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, with a focus on higher education, from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
A proud product of the Edgewood and Westside community, a first-generation Latina, and a former TRIO participant and leader, Mary views this work as deeply personal and remains committed to advancing equitable postsecondary opportunities for all students.
