J’Shcarla Adkins

J’Shcarla believes in the restorative power of encouragement—she believes it empowers her while uplifting the receiver. Jay was born in New York but considers Texas her home. She completed her Bachelor’s of General Studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and her MBA at DeVry University. She has extensive experience in the fields of operational and project management, nonprofit organizations and volunteerism. She has worked with persons who are developmentally and physically challenged, which is particularly important to her because her sister is intellectually disabled. Jay feels hope, empowered by encouragement, is a necessary tool for working in those fields and with special populations.
