liz believes in working for liberation for all and the power of the beloved community to create spaces of transformation. As Director: K12 & Youth Development, they will use their prior experiences rooted in racial equity to strengthen San Antonio’s communities. They hold a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated summa cum laude as a first-generation college student. As a queer leader of color, liz has spent their entire career empowering young people and educators to change the world.
