Neethu believes in the power of equity, creativity, and collaboration to ensure all young people feel a sense of belonging and are prepared for the future. As an Education Pioneers Fellow with UP Partnership, she supports the Postsecondary Department by conducting workforce needs assessments and advancing projects that align partners around shared goals.
A Houston native, Neethu earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and began her career with Houston ISD. She later pursued graduate studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she earned both a master’s in Reading and Literacy and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching, focusing on identity and belonging in online professional learning networks.
Outside of work, Neethu enjoys using creative tools such as blogging and video storytelling to amplify voices—and she may or may not know more Harry Potter trivia than anyone you’ve met.
